Miami FearFest awards Iran short film ‘Limit’

Iranian short film ‘Limit’ has won an award at the 2nd edition of Miami FearFest in the US. 

Directed by Javad Daraei, the film won the 2nd place Suspense Short Film certificate at the 2nd edition of Miami FearFest.

The 8-minute film which is his second flick, chronicles the story of a man in a quiet neighborhood, who asks the people around to help him, when all of a sudden, somebody goes into his home.

Javad Daraei adopts a spiritual viewpoint in his movies, this time utilizing a narrative that aims at challenging the status quo regarding the rights of the disabled.

Miami FearFest is an indie horror, suspense, or sci-fi short film competition made by filmmakers. The 2nd edition of the event was held in Miami, US, on November 10-11, 2017.
